This blog will be very short and to the point. Today is the reason I run. I chose to run slower and relax instead of really pushing myself. I wanted to remember why I started running. Not to push myself and be miserable during every run but to make the run therapeutic and to be able to spend time with some pretty amazing runners. And today I was so proud as I watched 4 runners tackle their longest run today! I was like a proud mama bear! That is why I run. I want to see the smile on someone’s face when they do what they never thought they could do. I want to cheer them on. And they, in turn, motivate me. They remind me to take a step back and be glad to just be out there. Stop the complaining and just enjoy the whole experience. Today was a great run!
