Well I did it! I really don’t even have any great stories to tell. I didn’t fall and I finished with a decent time. The first 2 miles were up hill on a gravel road and honestly probably one of the hardest starts to a race I’ve done. I couldn’t wait to get in the woods and at mile 10 I couldn’t wait to get out. It was a great experience that I will definitely do again next year. It was so nice just being surrounded by nature. Yes there was mud. Yes there were hills, a lot of hills! But it was beautiful and I had a great running friend with me. The conversation never stopped. So another race under my belt. And another race I’m blessed to have been healthy enough to run. Happy running!
